We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Emerald based Trainer to join Lennon Training and deliver a number of courses shown on our website. Underground experience is to be sufficient so to apply for deputy ticket. Tenure is two years. An application form is to be obtained below:

At least 5 years' experience in the mining industry, with at least 2 years recent Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels from workers through to management Experience in dealing with difficult people

	Kerry Lennon Director With 35 years of extensive experience in the coal mining industry, Kerry has spent the past 20 years specialising in programs aimed at developing expertise in workplace skills and behaviour.  He ensures that all instructors are creditable and that the qualifications are nationally recognised. Since 2005 Kerry extended the Lennon Training reputation to the export market of China resulting in very successful milestones that continue today.

	John Lennon Training Manager John has developed an excellent range of experience since 1995, specifically in the Underground Coal Mines of Central Queensland, including obtaining the Queensland Deputies Ticket in 1999 while only having ever worked as a contract miner, a first in Industry. It is with John’s vision of quality safety training that has brought to the QLD Coal Industry a reputable Deputy program since 2003 and in 2009, the first Underground Roadway Training Gallery.

	Richard Uren Instructor In mid- 2010, Richard joined Lennon Training bringing extensive experience with local mines as an underground operator.  His strengths are his practical approach to mining and ability to relate at grassroots level.

	Peter Suell Instructor Late 2010, Peter joined Lennon Training & brought even more experience with local mines as an underground operator. Peter ensures participants undertaking training courses understand the importance of risk identification and risk controls.

	Gregory Fry Instructor Recently joining Lennon Training, Greg and his 25 years of underground experience as an ERZ controller provide participants with the chance to learn from an industry source. In recent years, Greg has gained the experience of conducting Site inductions and also delivering the MI Skills Generic Induction for Surface & Underground.

	Mike Dobra Instructor Also recently joining Lennon Training, Mike has a substantial background in risk environments that’s given him the knowledge and safety behaviour that supports Lennons' established approach to safety training. Mike has recently been conducting Site inductions and also delivering the MI Skills Generic Induction for Surface.
